Recently, researchers have restored vision in two forms of LCA, one through gene therapy and one through retinoid therapy. In addition, there has been progress in new gene identification, biological analysis of discovered genes, retinal replacement therapies, and drug interventions. Help us continue our mission of finding treatments and cures for Retinal Degenerative Diseases and supporting the lives of affected families.
The best way to describe the 2nd Annual Fright for Sight Event in Utah on October 11 is a feeling of pure joy and excitement. I was greeted with a giant basket of all kinds of treats from Utah from honey bee candies and cheese curds to incredible chocolates only found in that area and treated like one of the family.
Why is it that David and I cannot attend every FRR event? No fair!!! Well here is the good news; on Saturday, September 27th we had the honor of being in Norwell, Massachusetts for the Cohane Family's 3rd Annual Vision for Sight – Stop and Smell the Rosemary night. And what a night it was!
